Dr. Raymond Green
Dr. Raymond Green serves as the inaugural Executive Director of Undergraduate Programs at the University of Louisville College of Business. He is responsible for leading and managing the entire scope of the undergraduate student experience, encompassing recruitment, admissions, career readiness (internships/co-ops), and all related support services. Dr. Green provides strategic leadership for the College, driving curricular innovation and managing accreditation oversight for all undergraduate business programs. A core focus of his tenure is driving systemic change to enhance access and opportunity for every student.
Dr. Green brings a wealth of leadership experience from his prior career as an educator, most recently as the principal of Central High School in Louisville, KY. Prior to Central, Dr. Green served as assistant principal of Meyzeek Middle School. Before administration, he honed his skills as a high school band director in both Kentucky and Texas. His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the UofL School of Music, complemented by a Master’s in School Leadership, and a Doctorate of Education in Leadership and Organizational Development, both from the UofL College of Education and Human Development.
Dr. Green maintains his musical passion, performing as a tuba player in the Louisville Concert Band and Brass Roots (Louisville’s only all-Black brass quintet). He is an avid cyclist, enjoys cooking, and is a devoted fan of the UofL Cardinals. He and his wife, UofL Music alum, Julia Green, parent four children: Eli, Madison, Azie, and Luke.
